Wednesday, April 20, 2011Holy Week GatheringsThursday.Maundy Thursday String Quartet Concert 7:30pm -On Maundy Thursday (April 21) at 7:30 pm Elizabeth Knighton's string quartet will be playing Haydn's Seven Last Words of Christ at Harbor Church. This is a multi-movement string quartet work that depicts each of the "seven last words," with readings done in between. It is intended to create space for meditation and "quiet" during Holy Week. The event is free. Friday. Good Friday Communion Service 7:30pm -We will join two of our partner churches (Awake and Harbor) as we celebrate Good Friday and worship our Lord together. All are welcome, and although there will be a room set aside for parents and children who need it, no childcare will be provided. Easter Sunday. Join us for our regularly scheduled worship services (9 & 10:45) at Taproot Theatre as we celebrate the defeat of death in Christ's resurrection!
